The Hacker Mobile...

Scott's 2006 Dodge Magnum RT

The next step was working on the tranny... I had the intake, I had the wheels, I had the exhaust... now I wanted speed.. The was quite happy with the MPG (quite often hitting 28-30MPG on the highway), but I wanted a smother shift. Also, I was not happy that I couldnt autoshift into and out of 5th gear.

Luckily, for the RT there is the SuperChip.. Worked like a charm, no problems, at all, and I get a ODB reader with it! Fixed all my problems, better gas millage and the shift lag is practically non-existant.

Just to make sure everything was... Sweet :) I got a custom billit shift knob..

The next thing, I got done, was to help performance in highway curves.. I'm not drifting :) nor do I want to be. But her stock suspension does have some role to her. I had Hotchkiss performance AntI-Sway bars put on. Cured all my ills.. Now canyon road (in Beverton Oregon) might as well be straight as it approachs Scholls Ferry..

So I'm about to add some more performance mods... But how do you know if your doing any good?

You go get it dyno'ed.. My best pull was 291hp and 317 ft/lb of torque... Not bad for stationwagon.

I only wish I had got one before I did anything, just for a better baseline
